GIRLS is a three-part publication dedicated to empowering girls and women. Inspired by some of my favorite female artists, GIRLS covers everything from body image to modern censorship. I believe in order for women to make it in a male-dominated power structure, they need to eat, breathe, drink and sweat self-esteem.
Each issue is based on an object, an image, or a word. For example, Issue no. 1 of GIRLS is based around the female breasts, what they represent, and how we are taught to covey them. GIRLS features both male and female artists that have begun to make a difference in modern feminism through all different media.
